Stem camp
In its second year, Paths to Success’ LEGO Robotics STEM camp exposed students to basic concepts of mechanical and electrical systems. The 28 students programmed their robots and completed tasks so fast that the instructor had a tough time staying ahead of them.
It was great to see one of the students from our first summer session return as an assistant to support these budding engineers. STEM Camp week ends in a competition and the students were ready to show their families all that they had learned.
Many thanks to the African American Fund for its sponsorship and to the retiring Dr. Fuehne at the Advanced Manufacturing Center. Something tells me that he will be back in the classroom again next Summer.
