Establishing healthy traditions

In 2014, beloved Bartholomew Consolidated School Corp. teacher Paulette Roberts taught a transformative six-week class at Second Baptist, dedicated to fostering better health through the reimagining of traditional African American recipes. This initiative not only celebrated the rich culinary heritage of the community but also infused it with a fresh perspective, emphasizing nutritious ingredients and healthier cooking techniques. Her class stands as a shining example of how small actions can lead to significant improvements in the health and vitality of a community.
